Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S26 series, which will launch on March 11. However, that’s not the only handset the company is launching in the near future.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 and A37 have shown up on Canada’s Radio Equipment List (REL), which offers some insight into the company’s future releases. These devices were submitted in January, so we’re a bit late. The REL is an online database of devices and radio equipment certified for use in Canada — smartphones tend to show on the REL ahead of launching in Canada.
Recently, Android Headlines shared images and specs of both devices.
The Galaxy A57 features the Exynos 1680 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM, and you’ll be able to choose 128GB and 256GB of non-expandable storage. However, it seems like only one of these models will be available in Canada, as it appears only one model has appeared on the list. But that’s not completely clear at the moment.
The handset reportedly features a 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh Super AMOLED display with a 2340 x 1080-pixel resolution, 5,000mAh battery, 45W wired, Android 16, along with One UI 8.5. Additionally, it has a 50-megapixel primary shooter with a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. Reportedly, the device will come in Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, Awesome Lilac and Awesome Navy.
The A37 will reportedly feature an Exynos 1480 processor, 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage. Additionally, it’ll have a 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate with a 2340 x 1080-pixel resolution, sport a 5,000mAh battery with 50-megapixel, 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors, similar to the A57.
It’s currently unclear when Samsung will release these devices.
