Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Buds 4 launch in Canada on March 11 with pre-orders starting today. The two earbuds come in white, black, and pink gold.
The Buds 4 cost $249, and the Buds 4 Pro cost $329.
The new Galaxy Buds 4 series has a premium ‘blade design’ with the Pro model having silicone tips. Samsung says the new design is optimized for a comfortable fit with the panel on the blade allowing for swipe gestures to help with answering calls and raising/lowering the volume.
I definitely need to put the Buds 4 series through their paces before making any concrete opinions about the earbuds. But I tried on the Buds 4 Pro, and I liked the experience. I played the song Middle Child by J.Cole, and the earbuds offered great bass and clear sounds. I was quite impressed by how the earbuds sound. I typically use the latest AirPods Pro, and in my experience, I didn’t notice too much of a difference between the two in terms of sound.
The Buds 4 Pro also enable new head nodding gestures when you get a phone call, allowing users to shake their head no to reject the call and answer yes and no. It also has seamless AI access, allowing you to summon either Gemini or Bixby with voice commands.
The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Buds 4 will be available to pre-order on Samsung’s website starting Feb. 25, ahead of the March 11 launch.
