Scheana Shay has had a bombshell year so far. She released a memoir earlier this year that spilled all the tea on her Hollywood hookups and feuds with her Vanderpump Rules co-stars. The Bravo reality star revealed that she isn’t returning for Season 3 of The Valley after appearing as a guest star in the first two seasons.
She said that she turned down the chance to return, but is that what really happened? A new report reveals the shocking real reason she won’t be on the new season.
The Valley Returns For Season 3 Without Two Familiar Faces
If you think about it, Scheana Shay was the catalyst for Vanderpump Rules. The first season was about her affair with actor Eddie Cibrian while he was married to RHOBH’s Brandi Glanville.
But after eleven seasons, Scheana and the other remaining SURvers are moving on from Vanderpump Rules. It was announced last year that Season 12 will have an entirely new cast. The show is expected to air on Bravo later this year or early 2026.
Several years after leaving Vanderpump Rules, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright made their return with a new spinoff, The Valley. The first two seasons documented the former couple’s separation and impending divorce. Season 2 highlighted Jax Taylor’s stint in rehab.
After major fan backlash for his behavior, Jax revealed that he wasn’t returning for Season 3. He’s not the only absence fans will notice. Scheana Shay appeared on the first two seasons in a guest role. She won’t be back for Season 3.
She previously claimed that she was asked but turned it down. After years of putting her life on reality TV, she decided to take a step back.
Shocking Reason Scheana Shay Isn’t Returning
Part of the reason why Scheana Shay is opting for privacy is the reaction from fans over the news that her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her. The couple secretly married in a private ceremony in San Diego, California, in 2021, before having a bigger wedding in Mexico the following year.
She dropped the bombshell affair news in her My Good Side memoir earlier this year. The affair reportedly cost Scheana’s friendship with former co-star, Lala Kent. Lala also appeared on The Valley.
While Scheana Shay publicly said it was her decision not to return, that’s not what really happened. According to an insider, Scheana was actually “dying” to be on Season 3.
“None of the cast of The Valley wants her on the show. They are tired of her abuse and think it’s funny when she announces she has been asked to be on the show and turned it down,” the source spilled to OK! magazine.
Another issue was Scheana Shay’s memoir. “She spoke about things that happened over a decade ago to make others look bad and promote herself,” the insider shared.
Her nemesis, Brandi Glanville, publicly slammed Scheana for bringing up her affair with Brandi’s ex-husband after all these years.
“She has zero remorse for cheating with a married man and homewrecking,” the former RHOBH star told OK!
Bravo has yet to reveal the premiere date for Season 3 of The Valley. Do you think it was really Scheana’s decision not to return to the show? Tell us in the comments.
