Next month Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies will take us back to Bikini Bottom Island with The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Today we get teased with a brand new clip which shows this film will be a ‘hero’s journey’ and looks like Spongebob is ready!
26 years after Stephen Hillenburg, Spongebob seems to be still relevant. The humour is loved not by just the kids the adults love it too, with plenty of nostalgia. Derek Drymon directs and he is no stranger to the franchise, as he directed many of the original series episodes.
The voice cast for this one includes Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, George Lopez, Isis “Ice Spice” Gaston, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, with Regina Hall and Mark Hamill.
