Read our match report and watch all the goals from the Premier League game at the London Stadium…

Benjamin Sesko scored in the sixth minute of stoppage time to rescue a 1-1 draw for Manchester United away at West Ham in the Premier League.

The striker came off the bench to find the net with a wonderful flick to prevent United losing their first game under interim boss Michael Carrick, although their four-game winless run has come to an end.

Tomas Soucek had opened the scoring for the Hammers in the second half as the Irons missed the chance to go level on points with Nottingham Forest in their bid for survival.

They remain two points off their relegation rivals in 18th, with United holding onto fourth with the late goal.

West Ham vs Manchester United as it happened

West Ham made a bright start as some nice work down the right from Crysencio Summerville allowed the winger to swing the cross in for Jarrod Bowen who could only head wide.

Bruno Fernandes couldn’t keep a lofted effort under the bar having gone clean through on goal before being flagged offside, with Summerville then cutting inside a stinging the palms of Senne Lammens with a good effort from distance.

Another nice set-piece routine created a chance for Luke Shaw to guide the ball towards goal and Aaron Wan-Bissaka had to be on hand to brilliantly clear the ball off the line.

United had been able to find to break much that stood in their way during this winning run under Carrick but West Ham presented a different kind of challenge for the interim boss to work out, with the hosts sitting back and allowing United to have the ball but standing firm in defence and not conceding many chances.

Taty Castellanos caused problems after a sloppy Diogo Dalot backpass before Amad Diallo fired into the side netting before the half drew to a close with the teams level – and work for Carrick to do to extend his winning run to five.

And that task got even more difficult early in the second half when Soucek got the final touch past Lammens from Bowen’s cross to put the Hammers in front.

The Red Devils thought they had their reprieve when Casemiro finished off Kobbie Mainoo’s lovely cross with a neat header but the Brazilian was rightly judged to be just offside.

United continued to have most of the ball as they pushed to level the game but they did not have the chances to match the possession, with Benjamin Sesko hitting a tame effort at the goalkeeper before Bryan Mbeumo headed well wide.

The Cameroonian then drove inside before his goal-bound shot was blocked away as time began to ran out for United to avoid their first defeat under Carrick.

West Ham managed to break through Callum Wilson, who drove clear brilliantly but his shot was eventually blocked by Leny Yoro as he closed down on goal.

The chances began to open up for the Hammers, with Yoro on hand to thwart another shot, this time by Adama Traore, which could easily have been heading in.

Joshua Zirkzee was then inches away from heading a Fernandes cross into the far corner but once again it just fell the wrong side of the post.

But just when it looked like they would be leaving empty-handed, Sesko found the net with a lovely flick to rescue a point for United and ensure they are yet to taste defeat under Carrick, albeit their winning run is now over.
