This past September, fans got to see a new season of pitches on Shark Tank with a brand-new season. This means a whole bunch of products that fans often want for themselves. One item set to be featured on the show is the QB54 backyard football game. Recently, information has come out about the product, including where to buy it.

Two Brothers’ Own Take On Thanksgiving Football Was A Product In The Making

The QB54 Backyard Football Game was born out of the spirit of competition. Two brothers, Mike and Frank Silva, always competed with each other growing up in New Jersey. Every Thanksgiving, they could get into the holiday spirit with their own kind of football game.

The brothers’ version of the game involved setting up two garbage cans at the opposite ends of their yard, with a metal antenna used as a field goal post. Players scored by getting the football into the can or bouncing it off the antenna. There was no tackling or teams, allowing the brothers to play the game themselves.

The brothers found themselves playing the game even as adults. In 2015, a neighbor asked them to join in. This inspired them to turn the game into a product.

This meant some changes had to be made to the game. Instead of trash cans, the base became camping chairs. This especially made sense, as people tend to travel for Thanksgiving. A fabric basket was used as a target, with PVC-style goalposts above the backrest.

To complete the set, a football and a set of flags were also included. The chairs were also designed to zip into a carrying case, forming the goals when unfolded. The final product was dubbed QB54.

QB54 Recently Made A Timely Appearance On Shark Tank

To play the game, two people still play at a time. Each player sits or stands near a chair, throwing the ball at the opposite goal. To get a touchdown, a ball needs to land in the basket. Field goals are kicked off the seat. While tackling still isn’t allowed, catches and deflections are permitted. In order to win, a player must earn 54 points.

Michael took the lead when launching the business. He set up a Shopify store and listed the game on Amazon. Sets are assembled and packaged for direct shipping.

For those interested in buying the game, most orders go directly through the product’s website. However, a few large retailers also stock the game. This includes Walmart, as well as DICK’S Sporting Goods. The game can also be found on Amazon.

As noted by the All Shark Tank Products website, the QB54 game will be featured on the second episode of Season 17 of Shark Tank, which will air on October 1, 2025. The appearance was all the more timely as this current season featured former professional football player Michael Strahan as a guest. In a recent share on Instagram, QB54 teased, “Eye spy with my little eye QB54 on Shark Tank.”

Would you also like to play a round of QB54? Are you also keeping up with Shark Tank? Make sure you come back to TV Shows Ace for all the latest reality TV and celebrity news.
