The Osbourne family recently endured the tragic loss of their patriarch and musician Ozzy Osbourne last year. Since then, news has come out concerning Sharon Osbourne and the California estate where she lived with Ozzy. Thanks to this, fans are wondering if she is tossing out the life she had with her late husband. This also comes out as Sharon shared a message with fans on social media.
Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne Were Married Until His Death In 2025
Sharon and Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne were married in 1982, sharing three children together: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Tragically, Ozzy passed away on July 22, 2025.
Many people were introduced to Sharon and her family through the reality series, The Osbournes, which ran from 2002 to 2005. In addition, Sharon has established herself as a media personality, appearing on The X Factor, America’s Got Talent, and The Talk.
Reports have come out that Sharon has cleared out her Los Angeles mansion following Ozzy’s passing. Removal vans and cardboard boxes could be seen at the property.
According to reports, Sharon has shown interest in getting an apartment in the Californian metropolis. This could serve as her base as she wants to keep in touch with her grandchildren. Her three children and five grandchildren currently live in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Sharon still has her primary address at “Welders House,” a Georgian mansion in Buckinghamshire. This is also where Ozzy is buried.
Speaking with The U.S. Sun, an insider shared that Sharon would want to give up her California estate. They shared, “Sharon doesn’t need such a big house in LA anymore, and instead plans to buy a smaller flat nearby so she can be close to her grandchildren when she is in town seeing them.”
Sharon Is Expected To Divide Her Time Between Los Angeles & Buckinghamshire
The source continued, also explaining that Sharon wants to divide her time between the two countries. They noted, “She is splitting her time between California and the U.K. But is constantly flying back and forth. She loves being close to her grandchildren, but England is her home.”
Back in October, Ozzy and Sharon’s son Jack shared, “It’s ups and downs. But she’s got a lot of love and support around.”

While some might see her leaving the mansion as her leaving the life she had with Ozzy behind, and naturally expect her to move on, the Buckinghamshire mansion also had ties to Ozzy. As previously reported, the two moved to Welders House prior to his death, sometime around 2023, to return to their native U.K.
Taking to social media, Sharon also showed that Ozzy is always on her mind and in her thoughts. In a post on Instagram, she shared what appeared to be the two holding each other’s hands in honor of Valentine’s Day, writing, “Forever Valentine.” She also added an infinity symbol, representing eternal love.
