During the trailer for Season 20 of Sister Wives, fans saw polygamist Robyn and Kody Brown discuss the possibility of adding a new sister wife to their family after wives Meri, Janelle, and Christine divorced Kody Brown. Fans have been eager to learn if the couple will be adding another sister wife now that they are in a monogamous relationship. Now, Kody has revealed what he is looking for in his next partner. Kody And Robyn Brown Discuss Bringing On Another Sister Wife
Sister Wives stars Kody and Robyn Brown have been considering their options on whether or not to take another sister wife into their family. They have been living as a monogamous couple since Kody’s first, second, and third wives divorced him. In a new clip from Season 20, the couple is seen discussing their options. Kody tells his wife:
“I got another one of those emails from some woman asking sort of like to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family.”
Robyn Brown appeared to be displeased with this idea. In a separate clip, the couple discusses the possibility of adding another wife. Kody tells Robyn
“I think you and I share something very special, but if it’s not duplicatable, it could put us at risk.”
Kody expanded that he felt their relationship was wonderful, and that he felt adding another wife would change their relationship dynamic. He questioned why they would put their relationship at risk. This is understandable given that the Brown family was torn apart when Robyn joined them as a fourth wife. Kody tried to explain, saying, “Why would we put that at risk?” he says of their relationship. “For anything other than…” His wife, Robyn, interrupted him, stating, “A guarantee,” which she calls “not possible.”
Kody Brown Shares His Explicit Expectation For New Wife
Kody Brown did reveal to his wife Robyn what would make him consider adding another wife to their family. He told her “There’s something I want, maybe more than you do.” His wife quizzically asks him, “What? What do you mean?” The reality star admits that he doesnt want to discuss the subject, but his wife pushes “Oh, you’re talking about sex.” Brown then revealed that his “Primary motivation” for adding another sister wife would be physical attraction. Brown confessed:
“I’m afraid, at this state in my life, [it] would be just how good looking she is. I’m not kidding.”
Robyn was thoroughly unimpressed and said, “And that would be the very worst reason.” Her husband explained to her that he would “want to be able to connect” with a new partner. Robyn explains to Kody that he does not understand how he is coming across. He replies:
“I know, I know. I’m a guy and I don’t freaking care.”
Robyn Brown then tells her husband that he is “just kind of being a bit of a pig right now.”
Kody Brown’s ex wife Christine chimed in on the couples conversation. She stated that is her ex-husband and ex-sister wife choose to add another wife to their family it will be just for the cameras. She noted, she hoped they do not bring on another wife because they are soul mates, and adding another wife felt disingenuous, unfair, and just for the camera.
