An actress known for her work in soaps was recently found deceased in a forest after reportedly disappearing. At the time, she was believed to have gone out to meet with an old friend. Since authorities have been investigating the case, they were reportedly left with more questions than answers following early reports.
The Star Was Around 42 At The Time Of Her Death
According to reports, the actress was found dead in a forest a few days after she told loved ones she was meeting up with an old high school friend. Shortly afterwards, she reportedly vanished.
Police then launched an investigation into her disappearance. The star’s car was found abandoned on a road leading to a deep forest.
During the investigation, the star’s vehicle appeared to have hit a tree before it was abandoned. Following this, about a day after the car was found, the actress’ remains were discovered in a forest around 650 feet away from the vehicle. This site was said to be near Biskupice Oławskie in southern Poland.
The actress was identified as Polish actress Magdalena Majtyka. She was known for appearing in some of the country’s soap operas, Na Wspólnej and Pierwsza Miłość.
Authorities have reportedly ruled out crash trauma as a cause of death. They have also shared that they do not suspect the involvement of a third party in the star’s death.
Following Early Reports, Police Were Unable To Determine Magdalena Majtyka’s Exact Time Of Death
Majtyka was 42 at the time of her death. The actress was married to filmmaker Piotr Bartos. After she went missing, he reportedly posted a public appeal for help on social media.
At this time, the investigation into what happened is said to still be ongoing. As noted by The U.S. Sun, public prosecutor Damian Pownuk shared that Majtyka’s body would undergo “histological and toxicological tests.” He continued, “Based on these results, experts will determine the final, definitive cause of death.”
In a further update from WP Wiadomosci, preliminary results of the autopsy were shared on Monday. However, investigators were said to have more questions than answers. At this time, it appears that the car accident itself did not lead to the star’s death. Experts were also reportedly unable to determine the exact time of death. Authorities also shared that they did not find injuries that could explain the death.
Majtyka’s was said to have sent shock waves into the Polish entertainment industry. On social media, her last Instagram post appeared to have been released on January 1. Recently, in light of what’s happened, fans have been taking to her latest posts to share their condolences and prayers. This includes simple posts like “Farewell beauty” and “Eternal rest.”
