Two weeks later, authorities found her body buried behind an abandoned school. Now, it’s been discovered that the man behind her kidnapping and death had a violent past. More Details On The Disappearance & Death Of Kada Scott
According to Carter, on Saturday, October 18, the remains of Kada Scott were found “buried in a shallow grave” behind an abandoned school. Earlier this month, she reportedly showed up to work a 10-hour shift. But she didn’t finish her shift, and she never returned home. Police reportedly tracked down the last person who was with her: a 21-year-old man named Keon King.
King was reportedly arrested in January and April of this year, booked on kidnapping and strangulation of his ex-girlfriend. In his latest, King reportedly bonded out with $20,000. According to Larry Krasner, the district attorney of Philadelphia, authorities “could have done better” by asking for a bail modification against King.
“The bail system is broke. We all have to try to do better. The commonwealth of Pennsylvania should stop making money off of bail,” Krasner stated at a recent press conference.
