ZAGREB: The Croatian Cinematheque has received 2 m EUR to restore its audiovisual stock in 2026 – 2028.
Up to 20 feature films produced before 2010 will be completely restored and preserved through the programme approved by the government.
Established in 1979, the Cinematheque is currently part of the Croatian State Archives, but the programme approved quietly last summer will give it greater independence, according to Croatia Week.
