If you’ve been getting hyped up by the upcoming Valve Steam Machine and want to get your hands on a Steam Deck, the base model is now down to $399 in Canada. Usually, it costs $499.
The model that’s discounted is the base model with 256GB of storage and an LCD display. The OLED models are still sitting at their regular prices. The 512GB is $689, and the 1TB is $819.
The sale only lasts until December 1, so anyone wanting to capitalize will need to jump on the deal quickly. That said, the handheld was also on sale for the same discount in late September, so it’s unlikely this is the last time we see this deal.
All in all, this is a pretty awesome price for an entry-level handheld gaming console. Compared to the $799 Xbox ROG Ally, it looks like an even better deal, even if the Xbox version can run a few more games.
