    Wondering what to watch on streaming?

    Every week, MobileSyrup outlines some of the most notable new movies and TV shows.     Apple TV

    For All Mankind (Season 5) [Apple Original]

    Apple TV Canada premiere date: Friday, March 27 (first episode, new episode every Friday)
    Genre: Sci-fi drama
    Runtime: 10 episodes

    Years after the Goldilocks asteroid heist, friction continues to build between the people of Mars and their former home.

    For All Mankind was created by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica), Matt Wolpert (Fargo) and Ben Nedivi (Fargo) and features returning stars Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt, alongside new series regulars like Mirelle Enos (The Killing), Costa Ronin (The Americans) and Sean Kaufman (The Summer I Turned Pretty).

    CBC

    The 2026 Juno Awards

    The biggest night in Canada music returns Sunday, March 29 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

    Held in Winnipeg, this year’s ceremony is hosted by Toronto’s Mae Martin (Wayward) and features performances by the likes of Brampton, Ont.’s Alessia Cara, Halifax’s Sarah McLachlan, Hamilton, Ont.’s Arkells, and Toronto’s Jully Black.

    Leading this year’s nominees are Justin Bieber and Tate McCrae with six nominations each. The full list of nominees can be found on the Junos’ website.

    Crave

    Blue Collar [Crave Original]

    Crave date: Friday, March 27 (all episodes)
    Genre: Documentary
    Runtime: 10 episodes

    As a rookie, Toronto’s Dan Petronijevic (The Trades) tries his hand at various blue collar jobs alongside no-nonsense seasoned professionals.

    Disney+

    Daredevil: Born Again (Season 2) [Disney+ Original]

    Crave date: Tuesday, March 25 (first episode, new episodes every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET)
    Genre: Superhero
    Runtime: Eight episodes

    With the Kingpin now the ruthless mayor of New York City, Daredevil must band together with a small group of allies to fight back.

    Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, Daredevil: Born Again was created by Dario Scardapane (The Punisher), Matt Corman and Chris Ord (Covert Affairs) and features returning Daredevil stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and Ayelet Zurer, while Matthew Lillard (Scream) and Krysten Ritter (reprising her role as Jessica Jones) join the cast this season.

    Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen [Netflix Original]

    Genre: Horror
    Runtime: Eight episodes

    A bride-to-be becomes increasingly convinced that something horrifying will happen at her wedding in a week.

    Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen was created by Haley Z. Boston (Brand New Cherry Flavor) and stars Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & the Six), Oakville, Ont.’s Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus), Gus Birney (Dickinson), and Karlan Crome (Misfits).

    Hate the Player: The Ben Johnson Story [Paramount+ Original]

    Genre: Mockumentary

    A comedic chronicling of the events surrounding Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson’s doping scandal at the 1988 Olympics.

    Hate the Player: The Ben Johnson Story stars Toronto’s Shamier Anderson (John Wick: Chapter 4), Toronto-born King Bach (Black Jesus) and Ottawa’s Mark McKinney (The Kids in the Hall). The series was filmed in Toronto.

    Hamnet

    After their bus breaks down, a dysfunctional ballet troupe must use their training to fight back against armed men.

    Pretty Lethal was directed by Vicky Jewson (Close) and stars Iris Apatow (The Bubble), Lana Condor (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), Millicent Simmonds (A Quiet Place), Avantika (Mean Girls), Maddie Ziegler (My Old Ass) and Uma Thurman (Kill Bill).

    Wicked: For Good

    Elphaba and Glinda navigate their respective new identities as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good in the events before, during and after The Wizard of Oz.

    Based on Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman’s Wicked stage musical, Wicked: For Good reunites Wicked director Jon M. Chu with stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang and Jeff Goldblum.
