    Streaming in Canada on Apple TV, Crave, Disney+, Netflix and Prime Video [Dec. 15-21]

    Wondering what to watch on streaming?

    Every week, MobileSyrup outlines some of the most notable new movies and TV shows.     Apple TV

    Born to Be Wild [Apple Original]

    Genre: Documentary
    Runtime: Six episodes

    Narrated by Hugh Bonneville (Downtown Abbey), this docuseries follows endangered young animals like the moon bear cub, Iberian lynx kittens and rescued African penguins on their journeys through life.

    Crave

    Irish Blood

    Original premiere date: August 11, 2025 (Acorn TV)
    Crave premiere date:
    Monday, December 15 (all episodes)
    Genre: Drama
    Runtime: Six episodes (about 42 minutes each)

    An American lawyer travels to Ireland to find out why her estranged father abandoned her, only to discover a larger web of dangerous secrets.

    Irish Blood is co-produced by Canada’s Shaftesbury (Murdoch Mysteries) and stars Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Jason O’Mara (The Man in the High Castle), Hamilton, Ont.’s Wendy Crewson (Saving Hope) and Dearbhla Molloy (Coronation Street

    Stream Irish Blood on Crave. It’s worth noting that the series has been renewed for a second season.

    Kumail Nanjiani returns to stand-up to riff on anxiety, drugs and cat medication.

    Emily in Paris (Season 5) [Netflix Original]

    Genre: Comedy-drama
    Runtime: Ten episodes

    Now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city.

    Emily in Paris was created by Darren Star (Sex and the City) and stars Lily Collins (Rules Don’t Apply), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Call My Agent!), Ashley Park (Joy Ride), Lucas Bravo (Ticket to Paradise) and Samuel Arnold (Pandemica).

    What’s in the Box? [Netflix Original]

    Netflix Canada premiere date: Wednesday, December 17
    Genre: Game show
    Runtime: Six episodes

    To win $250,000, host Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) will lead pairs of contestants through rounds of trivia to uncover what’s inside giant gold boxes

    Prime Video

    Fallout (Season 2) [Amazon Original]

    Netflix Canada premiere date: Tuesday, December 16 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT (first episode, new episode every week)
    Genre: Drama
    Runtime: Eight episodes (around one hour each)

    Lucy and the Ghoul head to New Vegas to uncover the truth about her father, while Vault-Tec prepares Maximus for war.

    Based on Bethesda’s video game series of the same name, Fallout was created by Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley) and Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Aaron Moten (Disjointed), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) and Walton Goggins (Justified).

    Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $99/year. An additional $2.99/month fee is required to remove ads.
