Law & Order: SVU Star Ice-T Done With Show Amid Reduced Role?
Rapper Ice-T joined SVU in Season 2. But viewers have barely seen him in Season 27. The character was beaten up early in the season and was on medical leave. “Fin” considered retirement, fueling rumors that the actor was leaving the show.
Ice-T appeared on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show to address the rumors. He admitted that he was concerned the show was writing him off after “Fin” landed in the hospital. “I’m ready for the ride,” he said about wanting to stay on SVU.

“I’m trying to get to Season 28, 28, and 30,” he added. His reduced role on the crime drama has given him more time for other ventures.
The rapper plans to release his first album in decades, Criminal Migraine. Furthermore, he started a daily podcast of motivational quotes, Ice-T’s Daily Game. “Every day I give out something called an ice-cold fact or a daily game,” he said about the podcast.
