1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has caught a lot of heat lately for her attitude and even the way that she has dressed. Yet, she has one person in her corner, her niece, who just rushed to defend her. So, why did she feel the need to speak up for Tammy, and furthermore, what exactly did she say? Keep reading for more details on the situation.
Tammy Slaton’s Niece Rushes To Defense
It is no secret that Tammy Slaton can be difficult and quite defensive. The 1000-lb Sisters star did not want to deal with her therapist in rehab and gave her a lot of trouble. It was questionable if she would ever lose the weight to undergo gastric bypass surgery. Moreover, did she care enough to save her life? Ultimately, Tammy put the pedal to the metal and has more than exceeded expectations. She has gotten skin removal, new teeth, become engaged to Andrea Dalton, and even begun volunteering.
At the same time, she can be very combative and snippy, something that is allegedly due to her meds. Recently, she was a bridesmaid in her nephew’s wedding, and those who saw her slammed what she wore. It was a saggy V-neck purple dress, with Tammy opting to wear a white T-shirt underneath.

Fans immediately commented on these dresses, but Amanda Halterman’s new daughter-in-law, Audrey, made a post about how beautiful her bridesmaids were and how they showed up for her on her big day. She did not want to have to say anything about it, but she did, and that was when Chris Combs’ daughter, Emily, responded. She noted that she is pregnant, so she felt that she would have looked “big” no matter what. Emily also added that all of the ladies are both “beautiful” and “smart,” so no one needs to say anything.

Although many mocked Tammy Slaton and the fellow bridesmaids for what they wore, followers have since realized that they were wrong. Maybe it was not fair to say anything, and they should have stayed quiet.
All Apologies
Dixon, Kentucky native Tammy Slaton has done her best to try to embrace her new body. However, she may not have felt completely comfortable in a revealing dress, and that is why she wore the T-shirt. That shirt made the dress look even more ill-fitting, unfortunately, but 1000-lb Sisters fans have since felt the need to apologize:
Hopefully, the ladies are proud of how they showed up on that day, and Tammy Slaton was honored to be a bridesmaid.
