With things taking a turn, insiders have been weighing in on the story. However, sources have differed on what has been going on. In addition, the sources suggested that the story could impact the Hulu series.
Taylor Frankie Paul Became Known To Many Through The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Taylor first became known to audiences for appearing on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. This Hulu series followed a group of TikTok influencers, known as “MomTok,” based in Utah. The first season came out in 2024.
More recently, it was announced that Taylor would be the next star of The Bachelorette for Season 22. Notably, Taylor will be the first star who wasn’t previously on The Bachelor. This season will make its debut on March 22, 2026.
Recently, reports have come out concerning a story between Taylor and her on-and-off again boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. According to TMZ, the two were spending time together at his place when they reportedly started fighting. This was allegedly due to Dakota’s own romantic past, including with cast member Shinia Powell.
According to the outlet, things got physical, with Frankie allegedly choking Dakota with his necklace. She then reportedly grabbed his throat and face. Allegedly, their son, Ever, was in the room during the incident.
One source claimed that Dakota called the police during the night of the incident. However, Taylor convinced him otherwise and to tell the police that everything was alright. She reportedly apologized and returned to Dakota’s home the next night.
Some Inside Sources Appeared To Share Differing Accounts Of What Happened
However, things once again reportedly took a turn. During the second night, the outlet claimed that Taylor allegedly scratched his neck while fighting. She was also said to have tossed his phone against a wall.
A friend of Dakota’s was said to have seen his neck the next day. Police were then contacted, who interviewed him. They were also said to have also seen proof of the injuries.
The outlet previously broke the story and acknowledged that Taylor recounted a different version of events. It was noted that sources seemed divided on what happened. Some were said to have painted Dakota as the primary aggressor. Others claimed that Taylor was physically abusive to him and their son.
At this time, production has been paused on Secret Lives. Both were reportedly told to get psych evaluations. However, sources close to Dakota later denied that any test was ordered for him.
Taylor’s co-stars allegedly do not want to continue filming, although producers want things to start back up soon. The upcoming season of The Bachelorette starring Taylor will debut next week. However, it has already been shot, with spoilers already teasing the season’s winner.
