A Teen Mom star is giving a shocking update regarding a mystery illness that they have been battling for some time now. So, what is going on, and is there a chance that they will be on the road to recovery sometime soon? Keep reading for more details on what exactly is going on.
A Terrifying Health Discovery
Several Teen Mom stars and alums have faced a variety of health and emotional problems over the years. Chelsea Houska DeBoer has had knee surgery, which was documented on the show. Jenelle Evans had a series of issues and could never nail down exactly what was wrong, so it was a constant battle. Others have battled addiction and depression, which have been debilitating, and fans have followed to see how it has all played out. Yet, one cast member woke up, and their life would never be the same.
Bristol Palin was not on the hit MTV reality series for long. However, her time was memorable for some, especially since she was the daughter of former VP candidate Sarah Palin. She also appeared in Season 11 of Dancing With the Stars, but a year ago, her life drastically changed. Bristol woke up with her face feeling off, and soon, it was paralyzed. The hope was that it would rectify itself, but a year after she first announced what happened, the mother of three is sharing an update. On January 3rd, Bristol, 35, was not optimistic, saying it’s “Not looking great.”
Furthermore, the Teen Mom alum included a snap of herself, with one eye barely open. She joked that at least she had cute sunglasses. However, this is impacting half of her face, which she will be able to treat with Botox. As of now, Bristol Palin seems to be taking it day by day, and likely never expected any of this to happen. She does note that: “Could be worse, could be better.” Those who saw the update could empathize with her story, some even sharing the experience.
A Common Pain
Spicewood, Texas-based Bristol Palin was not alone in what she was going through. Others had gone through what the former Teen Mom star was experiencing and shared their stories. Sadly, some never came out of the paralysis, so it was not that inspiring. Regardless, having a commonality had to make Bristol Palin feel less alone:
- I had it at 19- it lasted 9months and and still see the remanence of it this day and now I’m 47 🙁 that side of my face has aged less as well because those muscles weren’t in use for so long.
- A lot of the people have the same problem…with a good outcome in time.
