Cast Member Claims Teen Mom Is Ending
Teen Mom has documented teen pregnancies for almost two decades. The show premiered in 2009 as a spinoff of 16 & Pregnant. The reality series documented not only teen pregnancies, but also their lives as teen mothers. But that is reportedly coming to an end.
Briana DeJesus joined Teen Mom 2 in Season 8. Her sister, Brittany, posted on social media last year that the show was ending. When discussing her lack of money, she spilled the news while explaining why her sister can’t help pay her bills.
A source close to MTV denied the news. “It has not been canceled, everyone is still on a filming break,” the insider told The U.S. Sun last year. However, it’s been months and filming still hasn’t resumed. In the meantime, several cast members have picked up new careers as the money from MTV dries up.

Jade Cline, 28, worked as a hairdresser while on Teen Mom 2. She reportedly graduated from real estate school in 2023 and works as a licensed real estate agent. Another alum from the MTV show, Leah Messer, also works in real estate.
