If you like the idea of getting stats on your sleep, but don’t want to wear a watch or ring to bed, you may want to check out . It’s a mattress cover and hub system that tracks your breathing, heart rate, snoring and sleep stages, awarding you a sleep score each morning. Of course, for $3,000, you’d expect to get a bit more than that. So, in addition to metrics-tracking, the Pod 5 also warms or cools each side of the bed independently, using temperature-regulating, water-filled tubes snaking through the pad.

Alarm options include rumbles and gradual temperature changes for each side of the bed. The hub can also play white noise and sleep sounds, as well as gentle wake up sounds. An optional base adjusts the contours of your mattress, elevating your head or legs to help with snoring and pressure points, and can even do so automatically.

The base adds another two grand to the price tag and you only get sleep tracking, snoring detection, alarms and automatic adjustments with a $17-per-month subscription. But for some, a good night’s sleep might be worth the spend. Our own Sam Rutherford, who was a new dad at the time, tried an earlier version of the Pod and said it delivered he’s ever had.
