Netflix has released the latest trailer for its upcoming film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, from director Tom Harper, and you can watch it below!
Academy Award® winner Cillian Murphy returns as Tommy Shelby, driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons and choose whether to confront his legacy or burn it to the ground.
The cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, A House of Dynamite), Academy Award® nominee Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, The Hateful Eight), Sophie Rundle (After the Flood, Gentleman Jack), with Academy Award® nominee Barry Keoghan (Saltburn, The Banshees of Inisherin) and Primetime Emmy Award® winner Stephen Graham (Adolescence, Boiling Point).
The show it’s based on, Peaky Blinders, is a crime drama focused on a family of mixed Irish Traveller and Romani origins based in Birmingham, England, starting in 1919, several months after the end of the First World War. It followed the Peaky Blinders street gang and their ambitious, cunning crime boss Tommy Shelby. The gang comes to the attention of Major Chester Campbell, a detective chief inspector in the Royal Irish Constabulary, sent by Winston Churchill from Belfast, where he had been sent to fight against the Irish Republican Army flying columns, the Communist Party of Great Britain, street gangs, and common criminals to clean up the city. The show ran for six seasons, with The Immortal Man being the conclusion to the story.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man is in cinemas on Friday, 6th March, followed by a Netflix Release on Friday, 20th March.
