The Traitors has become a hit for Peacock, and now, Season 4 is coming to an end with the finale airing on February 26th. Unfortunately for fans of the series, it seems that the editors may have spoiled the final episode. So, what did they do to possibly ruin the show for viewers? Keep reading for more details.
Editors’Spoiled’ Season 4 Finale For Fans?
Season 4 of The Traitors has definitely left its mark on viewers, as the cast and clothing have been iconic. Moreover, the cast’s penchant for breakfast foods has been fascinating to watch. Yet, the one thing about airing it on Peacock is that episodes can be spoiled quite easily. Since the episodes drop weekly at 9 pm EST, fans can fast forward through and see who is banished as well as murdered. They then can share these details on social media, making it unnecessary for viewers to watch the show in its entirety.
Now, with the finale and reunion airing on Thursday, February 26th, it seems the editors may have done the spoiling. So, how did they do that, and moreover, why would they do such a thing? Eagle-eyed fans spotted some clues in the finale promo and immediately went to social media. They shared what they spotted, as there are just six players left. The February 19th episode ended with a murder. However, the person who was killed remained a mystery; or did it? A fan wrote this:
- On the preview for the next episode, they showed shots of all of the players in their outfits except for 1 person who they just showed a close up of their face from a previous scene. That person was Mark. It’s crazy to me how consistently bad the editors are at not spoiling the next episode.

Of course, this does not mean much. It could just be a theory or The Traitors editors trying to throw fans off. Yet, it is completely possible that they threw the finale together and missed this vital detail. Viewers immediately chimed in and agreed it could be the DWTS pro.
Forgetful Edit
Fans of The Traitors did believe that it could be Mark Ballas and that it was poor editing. They felt that the editors did not realize how meticulous viewers could be. More so, they analyze and dissect every single scene in an effort to figure out who stays and who leaves. However, other fans felt that it only made sense that Mark was “murdered,” so was it really a spoiler?
- I think they forget how some fans analyze the show. Survivor does the same thing all the time it’s crazy
- The more I think about it the more obvious it is that Mark was the only choice.
- Tbh mark is the only murder sensible murder choice anywaya
- The more I think about it the more obvious it is that Mark was the only choice.
Time will tell if it was Mark who ends up getting axed or if it ends up being someone else. Do you think that the editors made a big mistake, or did they do this to throw viewers off? Finally, will you watch the finale? Let us know and stream The Traitors only on Peacock.
