Sheryl Underwood Regrets Sharon Osbourne Feud
Sharon Osbourne was one of the original hosts of the CBS show The Talk when it premiered in 2010. Comedian Sheryl Underwood joined the talk show in Season 2. The two co-hosted for years without any issues. However, a huge on-air blow-up in 2021 led to Sharon Osbourne’s departure.
The argument came after Sharon Osbourne defended Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle. Sheryl Underwood addressed the feud during Tuesday’s episode of The View. She said that there’s “still love” between her and Sharon Osbourne. Sheryl Underwood said she tried to reach out after Ozzy Osbourne’s death but never heard back from her former co-worker.
Sheryl Underwood expressed some remorse over the 2021 blow-up. “Maybe there were some things that both of us could’ve done differently. I believe that what really happened to me, I had got into a couple of problem discussions on ‘The Talk.’ And God let me live to correct some of the things that I said, and correct myself,” she said.
Sheryl Underwood promised to delve deeper into the situation with Sharon Osbourne in her upcoming memoir. But her emotional confession led to a shocking diss from Joy Behar.
The View Host Joy Behar Makes Shocking Diss
Joy Behar – and the other women on The View – know a thing or two about feuds. But one thing Joy Behar is going to do is make a joke at the worst time. At Sheryl Underwood’s mention of God, Joy Behar retorted, “And God canceled that show.”
CBS canceled The Talk in 2024 to make room for the new daytime soap opera, Beyond the Gates. While Joy Behar’s diss shocked her, Sheryl Underwood quickly recovered and turned the tables. “But Joy, you’ve had your situation with people!” she said, referencing Joy Behar’s many arguments on The View.
“How dare you,” Joy Behar joked. The exchange was all in good fun. But fans took to social media to question whether Sheryl Underwood was ambushed by the Sharon Osbourne discussion.
