Al Roker has been a staple of The Today Show for several decades, and fans have adored him. No matter what happens to him through the years, they are invested in his well-being. They also care about his family and how they are doing, ensuring that they are in good shape and happy. Sadly, Al’s health has not been great, and it has caused him to go missing several times. Whenever this happens, it can be scary because one never knows if he will recover fast or if it will be a slow situation.
After all Al has been through, he is sharing a huge update regarding his cancer. Several years ago, Al had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, which changed his life. It can be terrifying to hear the word “cancer,” which it likely was for Al and his family. Fortunately, he noted that he had incredible doctors and a great team who were able to remove his cancerous prostate. Al gave a shout-out to all of the people who helped treat him at Sloan Kettering. Moreover, he encouraged all men to get checked out so that they can take preventative measures.
