These past few months have been a month full of commitment for 25-year-old Toosii. From proposing to his longtime girlfriend and now fiancée, Samaria J Davis, to being on tour with NBA YoungBoy, he’s been showing he’s fully locked in. Toosii Commits To Syracuse University
Since Toosii received a football offer from Sacramento State back in September, he has taken many of his supporters on his football journey. We’ve seen countless footage of him putting in work in the gym or him killing his football drills. In a video he shared from one of his workouts, the caption read, “I’m thankful for a shot at life. Lord, as long as you bless me with the gift of life may I follow the path you have laid out for me. They told me two things wasn’t possible but I know a man who handles ALL things. #TRUSTTHEPROCESS.” Toosii started off the month with a big surprise for his fans. Dressed out in bright orange gear, he revealed that he has officially committed to Syracuse University. The announcement came with a full photoshoot of him holding a football, posing in his Syracuse uniform, and even standing beside Syracuse head coach Fran Brown.
In his caption, Toosii wrote, “COMMITTED. For every kid who ever had a dream, make it reality. God’s will is the way and no one can stop it, not even the devil. I wanna thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to chase what I believed in when so many people told me I couldn’t. Thank you to the people who supported me as well; it never goes unnoticed. To be born in Syracuse and move to North Carolina at age 12 and haven’t been back since… when Coach Fran called, I knew it was a sign from God. Toosii’s fiancée, Samaria J Davis, is standing firmly behind her man as he steps into this new chapter. She took to Instagram to show her support, sharing a picture of him holding a football along with his song “Only Me” playing in the background. In her caption, she praised his determination and shut down any doubts, writing, “People always laugh until you actually do it! So proud of you. I’m with whatever you with.
