The last time a Bachelor Nation show filmed at the famous Bachelor mansion near Los Angeles, California, viewers sounded off on how it seemed in disrepair. Now, the mansion is getting a makeover in a collaboration between ABC and HGTV.
Bachelor Mansion Takeover features 12 of the reality show’s alum as they redesign rooms in a quest to win the $100,000 prize. Jesse Palmer hosts the show. Former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron serve as judges. The show premieres on HGTV on Monday, March 2.
Tyler Cameron Disses Casting Reality Star As Bachelorette
Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron appeared on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast to promote the upcoming renovation show. The topic turns to the Bachelorette. Season 22 of the spinoff premieres in March. ABC went outside the franchise for the first time ever and cast reality star Taylor Frankie Paul as the lead instead of a former contestant.
Tyler Cameron spoke out about who he would cast in the next season. He said that a season with reality star and DWTS alum Brooks Nader would be “diabolical.” But there was just one problem. “I found an issue with Brooks Nader’s casting, though. They wouldn’t be able to find enough rich people to cast,” he joked.
Brooks Nader competed on Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars. She was paired with pro dancer Gleb Savchenko but their relationship was more than just professional. They briefly dated. She later starred in a reality show along with her three sisters.
His Pick For Next Bachelor
Tyler Cameron also shared his thoughts on who should be the next Bachelor. ABC renewed the show for Season 30, but is airing a new Bachelorette season first. Bachelor Nation fans begged for Tyler Cameron to be Bachelor, but he’s been dating Tate Madden for a few years now.
He suggested a Love Island star as the next male lead. “Rob Rausch would be a good Bachelor,” Tyler Cameron said. Rob Rausch recently won Season 4 of The Traitors and is a heavy favorite for the next DWTS season.
Tayshia Adams chimed in with her pick. “I also think Robert Irwin would be good because he’s, like, America’s sweetheart,” she said. Robert Irwin competed on the last season of DWTS and took home the Mirrorball Trophy. Rumors about him being the next Bachelor heated up during the dance competition. He recently spoke out about the possibility.
