Mia & Baby Exploited By Jessie’s Mother
The parents of the Season 7 Unexpected cast are causing a lot of drama this year. They are either enabling their children or in trouble with the law. It is hard for the teenagers to feel like they have any stability, but they seem to be trying their best. Mia Quebedeaux from Denham Springs, Louisiana, is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Jessie. They are both sixteen, and she lives with her father, Keith, as her mother has been in and out of trouble with the law. It seems that she has a great relationship with Jessie’s mother, AK, who was at the baby shower, and wants to be in the delivery room.
However, what viewers may not realize is that AK is actually Jessie’s stepmother. She has more than stepped up and is taking care of him, and deeply cares for Mia, as well. Yet, he does have a biological mother. Unfortunately, he admitted that he has only seen her around three times in his life. This came out after his bio mom, Ashley, shared snaps from Unexpected, mainly of Jessie, and wrote over the picture:
“That’s my son and grandbaby”
She added heart emojis around her words. When people asked about it, she noted that she was too young to be a grandmother and that AK was Jessie’s stepmom. Keep in mind that AK is only 36, so she was only 20 when Jessie was born.
Jessie has made it very clear that Ashley is not his true mother. However, Ashley was on the phone during the baby shower, so she seemed to want to be involved, but why the exploitation? It is also unclear if she wants to do this solely so she can be a part of Unexpected.
Did Viewers Know The Truth?
After this was posted, did Unexpected viewers know who Jessie’s real mother was, and if they knew it was not AK? She has stood up to Mia’s mom, Nicole, and sat down with her father, Keith, plus she loves Mia to no end. Many fans respected Jessie for how much he loves AK and felt that this was a sign of what a good kid he is:
- I love that he stood up for his Step mom because in no way did I even get the impression she didn’t hatch him herself. Lol so that’s CLEARLY the present and loving Mom he chooses. The “Birth Giver” will remain where she is.
- I really thought that AK was his mom. Now looking back at their relationship and interactions I see why it’s more of a friend level than a parent level. That’s nice of her to step up into the role though.
- AK is the MOMMA he don’t know that LADY !!! this season is so messy
- The fact that his bio mom even spoke out is wild.
It will be interesting to see if Ashley keeps popping up on social media or if she leaves Jessie and Mia alone.
