Following this, Usher served as a mentor to Bieber. For years, the two were known for working on projects together and even describing each other as family.
However, the two were said to have gotten into a fight at an Oscars afterparty hosted by Beyoncé and Jay-Z. As previously reported, sources differed on some details of the fight. While some claimed that the exchange, while “heated,” didn’t get physical, others claimed that it eventually turned into a fist fight.
As reported by TMZ, sources connected to Bieber claimed that Usher came up to his former protege at a party with “energy and anger.” This led to the fight. These sources claimed nothing physical had happened but shared that it was still intense.
Usher Was Described As Looking ‘As Cool As A Cucumber’

In the outlet’s more recent update, it shared a series of photos of Usher on Instagram. He was wearing what appeared to be a black and yellow letterman jacket and shades while walking down the streets of Los Angeles. While looking pleasant in the first photo, he seemed upset by something in the second photo while on the phone.
A caption read, “Usher is seemingly unfazed by the argument he and Justin Bieber had just a week ago, as he’s seen strolling the streets of L.A. looking as cool as a cucumber.” Since then, fans have been sharing their own reactions to the photos on social media. A few fans were asking just how Usher was expected to feel during the moment. Some comments included:
