Violet Grohl has announced her debut album, Be Sweet To Me, out May 29 via Auroura Records/Republic Records. It includes her latest single, “595,” inspired by a vintage T-shirt promoting a phone sex line. Lyrically, the song explores power, loneliness, and the commercialization of desire.
The video, directed by Nikki Milan Houston, features Grohl in the back of a cab observing a rotating lineup of passengers — from a heartbroken girl to a biker — while the driver attempts to manage their erratic behaviors.

Be Sweet To Me was recorded between late 2024 and early 2025 with producer Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Kim Gordon) at his home studio. Raisen gathered a group of musicians for the sessions, echoing the collaborative spirit of the legendary Wrecking Crew, who played on countless recordings throughout the ’60s and ’70s. The songs on Be Sweet To Me were shaped by Grohl’s love of film, especially the work of David Lynch, whom she paid tribute to on “What’s Heaven Without You.”
