Whoopi Goldberg Among Celebrities Named In Epstein Files
When the Department of Justice promised to release the Epstein files, many thought that meant a client list. However, the majority of the communications released were emails from convicted s*x trafficker Jeffrey Epstein to a ton of high-profile individuals.
One of the most surprising names on the list is Whoopi Goldberg. She’s mentioned over a dozen times. Her name appears 21 times. Yet, she’s not the only View co-host in the files. Alyssa Farah Griffin, who recently welcomed a child, was mentioned 20 times. Longtime host Joy Behar and Ana Navarro appear a few times. Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin aren’t mentioned in the files at all.
Several members of Congress released redacted names, causing some very high-profile figures to resign from their positions. The fallout from being named in the Epstein files grows every day. Whoopi Goldberg finally addressed why she’s in the files.
The View Host Breaks Silence On Epstein Connection
Many celebrities named in the files have tried to get ahead of public backlash by explaining why their names came up in the files. Whoopi Goldberg broke her silence on Tuesday’s episode of The View. She revealed the truth about her connection to the convicted s*x offender.

Years before he was arrested on federal s*x trafficking charges, Jeffrey Epstein took a guilty plea for soliciting an underage prostitute. He died in prison while awaiting trial for the federal charges. The entire world has waited for years for the disclosure of those involved in the alleged trafficking. Being named in the files can ruin reputations.
Whoopi Goldberg admitted on the talk show that she’s in the Epstein files. However, she denied having any kind of personal connection to Jeffrey Epstein. Her name appears in the files because a charity she was working with sought to rent a jet from Epstein, according to TV Insider.
However, it never happened. Jeffrey Epstein refused to provide an airplane to take Whoopi Goldberg to a charity event. “I wasn’t his girlfriend. I wasn’t,” Whoopi Goldberg said about rumors of a romantic connection with Jeffrey Epstein.
