Why Cardi B Wiped BF Stefon Diggs Off Her Social Media

Cardi B finally opened up about the reason she scrubbed pictures of her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, from her Instagram back in July.

The “WAP” rapper wiped Diggs’ pictures two months after a viral video of him on a yacht, surrounded and acting flirtatiously with a couple of women wearing bikinis, surfaced.

Cardi’s relationship with the NFL player is proving to be the drama amid the news of the couple welcoming their first child together. Diggs is embroiled in a paternity suit and was seen with a baby carrier just months ago.

In the September 24 episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper told Alex Cooper why she removed any trace of her boyfriend from her Instagram.

According to her, he did something she did not like, but it wasn’t a significant issue. “I’m dramatic. That’s the thing,” she admitted.

“Like, something that to people is a big deal, to me is not a big deal at the moment. And then it’s like, ‘Ugh.’ It became something that it is not,” she explained, referring to the speculations that her actions were because she had split with the athlete. 

“It was for something that was very stupid and little. I forgot! Because I’m just dramatic like that,” the mother of three continued. 

The “Love & Hip-Hop: New York” star shared that she did that to see how long it would take him to figure out, and when Diggs realized, he asked, “Why would you do that?” However, it posed no trouble as they managed to still laugh about it.

Fans may recall that Cardi scrubbing her IG clean of Diggs came two months after the yacht scandal. As reported by The Blast, insiders revealed that the “I Like It” hitmaker was not impressed by the video circulating online.

In the clip, Cardi’s soon-to-be baby daddy was seen handing some bikini-clad women a pink substance from the container he was holding and warned them, “Don’t take it all.”

He then encouraged them to enjoy themselves and return.  The not-so-comfortable behavior continued as Diggs asked the ladies, “What’s my name?” and received the usual response to the question, “Daddy” from about two of them.

“Girls will throw themselves on him [Diggs] all the time, but she wishes he wouldn’t be a scumbag and flirt back,” the source said of Cardi’s reaction. They continued by saying the rapper found the entire exchange “embarrassing” and was displeased.

The clip of the yacht incident is not the only issue that has threatened to rock the new romance between Cardi and the “New England Patriots” star.

As reported by The Blast, following Cardi’s announcement about expecting a child with the NFL star, a controversial video surfaced.

The clip from May showed Diggs leaving a New York medical facility with a baby carrier. He was seen placing the carrier into an SUV while a mystery woman sat in the back seat. However, details of the parties in the clip are yet to be confirmed.

Diggs’ life keeps making headlines. Shortly before the resurfaced clip, the father of one was embroiled in a paternity lawsuit.

According to The Blast, social media influencer and model Aileen Lopera, whose username is Lord Giselle, has filed a petition to determine the father of her daughter, whom she claims is Diggs.

The American professional football player denied Lopera’s claims and requested that the court order genetic testing to resolve the dispute.

However, there has been no update on whether the duo has taken the tests.

She drew inspiration from R&B singer Shirley Brown’s “Woman to Woman” track, which mirrors Cardi’s real-life scenario.

The former “Rhythm + Flow” judge insinuated that she was not leaving her lover because of the baby daddy drama between Lord Giselle and Diggs. Cardi implied that she was sticking with the NFL star no matter what.

“That’s your baby daddy, b*tch? That’s my baby daddy, too. What now? I don’t f-cking know. We’ll figure it out, b-tch,” she declared.

Despite the noise, the “Drip” singer looks forward to welcoming her fourth child with the American wide receiver, and she is not letting the drama get in her way.
