Over the weekend, Harry and Meghan made a surprise appearance at Kris Jenner’s birthday bash, where the momager celebrated her first year as a septuagenarian.

Shortly after the event, pictures featuring the Sussexes as well as other shots were shared on the Instagram page of Jenner’s daughter, Kim Kardashian.

However, the photos that included the Duke and Duchess only remained up for a short while before being removed for reasons yet to be disclosed.

In one of the deleted images, Kardashian could be seen posing exclusively with Meghan, with Prince Harry and other attendees visible in the background. The SKIMS co-founder was dressed in a form-fitting lavender crochet-style gown featuring a sleeveless design and a scooped neckline.

Meghan wore a long-sleeved gown with a high neckline, draped, ruched detailing at the waist, and a slit on one side. For the shot, Kardashian placed one arm around Meghan’s waist, while the former actress appeared to reciprocate the gesture, although her hand was not visible.

A second picture from the deleted collection featured Meghan standing behind Jenner and placing her hand warmly on the momager’s shoulder. Harry also featured in the shot and appeared to be making a playful face towards his spouse.

A third shot captured Meghan about to greet Netflix CEO Reed Hastings with a hug, while another featured Harry and Meghan posing with the celebrant.

But perhaps the most interesting of the snaps was the one showing Harry and Meghan arriving together at the high-profile event, which also featured stars like Beyoncé and Justin Bieber.

The duo arrived hand in hand, with the Invictus Games founder leading the way for the mother of two as they walked through the sea of flashing paparazzi lights.

As for Harry’s look, he opted for a classic black tuxedo and tie that nicely complemented Meghan’s elegant evening gown.

In the comment section of a Reddit post, fans expressed their thoughts about the deleted photos.

“Deleting the evidence is worse than just leaving it up. Have some integrity–going to this party was a choice made,” a user remarked.

“My bet is the Mar-a-Lago crowd got pissy about it. They don’t want Kim K associating with H&M,” another individual noted, seemingly referencing President Donald Trump’s infamous feud with the Sussexes.

Harry and Meghan’s outing at the star-studded birthday party, held at billionaire Jeff Bezos’ home, seemingly caught the attention of the royal family.

Now, insiders have slammed the Sussexes’ move as “tacky,” especially taking aim at the duke, whom they claim has become “too far removed” from royal life since his exit in 2020.

“It truly shows that Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family,” a source told Page Six.

They added, “These people may be stars in America, but the pure ostentatiousness is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy.”

Last month, Harry and Meghan were spotted at a gala for a nonprofit, Project Healthy Minds.

The duo attended to receive an honor for the “Humanitarians of the Year” in recognition of their work via their Archewell Foundation.
