One of the most celebrated, outrageous and original 1980s horror films – Re-Animator – is being revived thanks to Second Sight Films, and we have a copy of the new remastered version on 4K UHD to give away to one lucky reader!Get ready to see H.P. Lovecraft’s terrifying tale – produced by Brian Yuzna and starring Jeffrey Combs (The Frighteners, Star Trek: Deep Space 9), Bruce Abbott (Interzone, The Bride of Re-Animator) and queen of horror Barbara Crampton (From Beyond, You’re Next) – in all its gory glory, alongside a bloody bucketload of special features.
Brilliant, if somewhat deranged, medical student Herbert West (Combs) arrives at Miskatonic Medical School and is not impressed by his professor’s outdated views on death. West has his own outlandish theories, and when he discovers a serum that can re-animate dead flesh, all hell breaks loose. Roping in fellow student Dan Cain (Abbott) and his girlfriend Megan Halsey (Crampton), their shocking experiments work all too well with horrific results, and it isn’t long until the campus is overrun by the undead, placing the faculty and fellow students in devastatingly disturbing danger.
The film is released on December 15th at all good retailers.
