Fox News recently covered a wrestling event in Florida. However, something occurred on live television that likely gave some viewers a surprise. One wrestler involved with the event body slammed one of the network’s journalists.
One Fox News Alum Got To Experience A Wrestling Move Firsthand On Fox & Friends
The Real American Freestyle, or “RAF,” is a freestyle wrestling promotion based in Tampa, Florida. It was founded back in 2025 by Chad Bronstein, Terri Francis, and Hulk Hogan.
Recently, the promotion was covered by a Saturday Morning Fox & Friends segment. During the moment, one wrestler decided to give one reporter a visual example of what they had planned during the event.
During the early weekend coverage, Fox News journalist Abby Hornacek spoke with American wrestler Kennedy Blades, who is set to battle Milana Dudieva at the event. Blades then decided to show the reporter what she planned to do firsthand at the event, which was later set to air on Fox Nation.
The wrestler performed her signature move, which is known as a “suplex.” Hornacek admitted that she was “nervous,” but was willing to let Blades try the move on her. As could be seen, Blades lifted Abby up and then flipped her over her shoulder. This slammed her face-first to the floor. Fortunately, a mat broke her fall.

Hornacek later shared a video of the move on social media. She appeared to be alright from the experience, jumping to her feet and giving Blades a high five afterwards.
In her post on X, Hornacek wrote, “Got suplexed by an Olympian today, so that was cool.” For her part, Blades wrote, “She’s awesome! Had so much fun.”
As noted by TMZ, Blades is the RAF women’s middleweight champion. She previously won a silver medal in freestyle wrestling at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. At the 2025 World Championships, she later earned a bronze medal for wrestling.

With Hornacek sharing the story on social media, commenters shared all sorts of reactions to the story. Some were shocked by what the move, while others teased that Blades went easy on the reporter. Some comments included:
