Zendaya says she has deep admiration for the balance Robert Pattinson has struck between global fame and protecting his private life.
The pair recently sat down for a joint interview promoting their upcoming romantic comedy film, “The Drama.”
During the conversation, the “Euphoria” star reflected on the challenge of being the best version of herself as a public performer, while also preserving parts of herself for her family and loved ones.
On his part, Pattinson claimed that despite working in Hollywood for decades, he still feels like an outsider within the industry.

Zendaya Opens Up About The Balance Between Fame And Privacy
Zendaya and Pattinson recently posed for a cover shoot and also sat down with Interview magazine as part of the promotional campaign for “The Drama.”
In the interview, the Emmy-winning actress reflected on the delicate balance between celebrity and personal privacy, revealing her admiration for the way she says Pattinson has managed to maintain boundaries in his own life.
“Something I admire about you is you keep so much of your life to yourself, which is a beautiful thing, especially having a family,” she said.
Pattinson is engaged to British artist Suki Waterhouse, with whom he has one daughter.
“At the end of the day, you’re a public figure. There’s nothing you can do,” Zendaya continued. “But some things are meant for yourself and for your loved ones.”

Robert Pattinson Admits He Doesn’t Feel Part Of Hollywood’s Inner Circle

Pattinson may be his co-star’s gold standard for managing privacy in Hollywood, but he admits he doesn’t even feel like he belongs there in the first place.
“I’m never really allowed in,” he told Interview.
“The Twilight Saga” star suggested he has never quite felt part of Hollywood’s inner circle, and that only seems to get harder with age.
“I’m always knocking at the door like, ‘Hey, guys. Where the party at?’” Pattinson continued. “And everyone just gets younger and younger. It’s so scary when you don’t know who anyone is anymore. I’m completely out of the circle.”

Zendaya On Her ‘Most Hollywood’ Habit

As Pattinson reflected on feeling like an outsider, Zendaya concurred, describing him as “the most Hollywood not-Hollywood person.”
At the same time, she admitted she may have embraced certain aspects of the movie star lifestyle more than her co-star.
Most notably, she pointed to the lavish life her dog enjoys as the clearest example.
“I’d say quintessential Hollywood sh-t is probably how I am with my dog,” she said. “That’s probably the most ridiculous Hollywood thing about me, how my dog be living.”
As an example, the “Shake It Up” star highlighted the premium diet she provides for her pet.
“They get their fancy meals with the vitamin supplements,” she explained. “It sounds very ridiculous when I talk about it, but I love my child.”

Zendaya And Robert Pattinson Star In The A24 Film ‘The Drama’
“The Drama” is a romantic comedy from A24, written and directed by Norwegian filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli.
It follows an engaged couple whose relationship begins to unravel just days before their wedding after an unexpected revelation throws their plans into disarray.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on April 3, 2026.
Zendaya portrays Emma Harwood, a bookstore worker from London who’s preparing to get married to a museum director known as Charlie Thompson (Pattinson).
Other cast members include Mamoudou Athie and Alana Haim, along with “Succession” star Zoë Winters, who plays a wedding photographer.

The Pair Are Also Set To Co-Star In Two More Films
Zendaya and Pattinson had never worked together before “The Drama,” but they already have two more major collaborations slated for 2026.
First up, the duo joins the star-studded ensemble of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” alongside names such as Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Zendaya’s partner, Tom Holland.
Pattinson and his newfound screen partner will also appear together in “Dune: Part Three,” the highly anticipated final installment in Denis Villeneuve’s epic sci-fi franchise.
Reflecting on their continued collaboration, the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” actress expressed gratitude for what she described as an “unbelievable” run of projects.
“I’m grateful I’ve had the coolest experiences on all three,” she said. “It’s kind of wild to wrap your head around.”
