Results from the 2026 Agents’ Choice Readership Survey were released last night amidst the glitz and glamour of the Annual Agents’ Choice Awards Gala at the Carlu in downtown Toronto.
The 2026 Agents’ Choice Readership Survey featured a total of 48 categories covering Airlines, Tour Operators, Tourist Boards, Cruise Lines, Hotels, Ancillaries and some special award categories.
With the theme of Strength & Resilience, this year’s survey featured a total of 8 new categories.
In the Tourist Board section, new categories included: Favourite Tourist Board – Asia; Favourite Tourist Board – Pacific/Oceania; Favourite Tourist Board – Europe; and Favourite Tourist Board – Middle East/Africa.
There are two new categories in the Tour Operator section: Favourite Tour Operator – Europe and Favourite Tour Operator – Middle East/Africa.
And there was one new category added in the Ancillaries & Support section — Favourite Travel Agent Incentive Program.
As well, the 2026 survey featured a special Strength & Resilience Award, giving Canadian travel advisors an opportunity to recognize the supplier who has demonstrated those qualities in the most difficult and challenging of situations over the past year.
