In Season 6 of Seeking Sister Wife, Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield finally met their forever sister wife. They had two failed engagements, but Lorrana from Brazil seemed to be the one. Unfortunately, things took a horrible turn, and their relationship ended, with Garrick arrested. Now, Lorrana is begging for legal help and admitted she will need financial assistance. Garrick & Dannielle Leave Lorrana In Fear
When Lorrana moved from Brazil to Buena Vista, Colorado, Seeking Sister Wife fans wondered if she knew what she had gotten herself into. Garrick Merrifield could be quite controlling, as seen with his “wife,” Dannielle. She was not interested in having multiple wives, but he did not care about her jealousy or broken heart. After two failed courtships, the Merrifields met Lorrana, and she was their endgame. She moved to Colorado, married Garrick, and soon found out she was pregnant. Shortly after she gave birth, Garrick was arrested for domestic violence charges.
Lorrana remained committed to him, although fans felt she should leave. Then, after he was handed down a light sentence, Lorrana went live on social media, fearing for her life. She claimed that “they” were trying to take her daughter, Sarah, and now, it has reached a new level. Since her English is not perfect, Lorrana is in desperate need of a Portuguese-speaking family law attorney. At the same time, she is struggling financially, so she admitted that she will have to launch a GoFundMe of sorts.
The Seeking Sister Wife star went on to add that she never imagined, when she came over to America, that she would be in this position. She hoped that she was starting and building a beautiful new life, and now, Lorrana has to “rebuild” and “reorganize” everything. However, when Garrick Merrifield was arrested, as aforementioned, followers encouraged her to save herself and her daughter. Instead, she posted re-engagement photos and acted like everything was beautiful.
The Network Better Step Up
When Seeking Sister Wife fans found out that Lorrana Merrifield was finally leaving, they were thrilled. However, they were also terrified as they did not believe that Garrick Merrifield would let her leave without a fight:

At the same time, viewers strongly believed that TLC should step up and in to help aid Lorrana and her daughter:
- TLC should make sure she has a good lawyer
- TLC should absolutely step up. They’ve seen weirdo Ick and his pimp wife abuse many women now.
- Absolutely!! They enabled him to human traffic women and they should step up to get her housing and a lawyer.
Lorrana concluded her plea for legal help by stating that she will not feel bad about what she is going through. She believes that she has been herself the whole time, and this was the hand she was dealt. In the end, it will be a part of her story.
