Patrick Muldoon Had A Career Spanning Decades
Movie and television fans knew Patrick Muldoon from just about anything. Not only was he a soap star, having portrayed Austin Reed on Days of our Lives, but he also appeared in several popular television shows. He made a guest appearance on Saved by the Bell and starred on Melrose Place. Additionally, he had some made-for-TV movie success, doing holiday films for Lifetime. As for films, Patrick Muldoon appeared in the cult classic, Starship Troopers, alongside Casper Van Dien and Denise Richards.
Yet, it was his longstanding relationship with Denise Richards that kept him in the public eye. He appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when he attended her wedding to Aaron Phypers. Patrick then showed up when they were doing a movie together. Finally, he cast Denise in a music video for his band, which was featured on her E! reality series. Sadly, the San Pedro, California native never got to see what could happen with his career or his band as he died on April 19th, 2026. The cause of death has been deemed a heart attack. He was just 57.
As of two days ago, Patrick Muldoon had posted exciting news on his social media regarding a big project. He was set to work alongside Chris Hemsworth, Taron Edgerton, Zazzie Beetz, and Alec Baldwin in Australia. Allegedly, his sister, Shana Muldoon-Zappa, spoke to TMZ and shared that he went to shower after having a coffee. His girlfriend felt he was taking too long, so she went to check, and that was when she found him unconscious. Paramedics were called, but sadly, it was too late.
A Sad End
It is a very sad end for those who knew and loved Patrick Muldoon. One of the running jokes was that he dated everyone. He had been in a long-term romance with Denise Richards, dated Lisa Rinna, and had been with Tori Spelling. It seems he lived a good life with the ladies, but it was cut very short.
