Jenna has since developed a career in journalism. Known for her work with NBC, she is known for co-hosting Today‘s fourth hour. Currently, she works alongside Sheinelle Jones, making up Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.
Recently, Jenna put her presidential background to work. While in Philadelphia for the History Channel’s History Talks program, she spoke with four living presidents in honor of the country’s 250th anniversary. This included Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Bill Clinton, as well as her own father. Jenna shared that this was her third time involved with the event.
Clips of the conversation aired on Today. When discussing her co-host and her father, Sheinelle commented, “God, you guys look just alike, too. I know everybody says it, but dang.”
Jenna then admitted, “I know, well sometimes that’s not a compliment, but I appreciate it.” She then gave the camera a pointed stare.
Jenna Described An ‘Important’ Takeaway From The Interview
As the production team had a good laugh, Jenna continued, “Well, I think my dad’s handsome, but when people say that I’m like, ‘I look like a man?’”
Sheinelle commented that a lot of kids take pride in resembling their father, as it proves they’re related. At this, Jenna quipped, “OK, yeah, my dad is my father.”
Looking back, Jenna remarked on how the former presidents took pride in their country. She shared, “I think all of them are optimistic about where we’ve come and I think that’s such an important thing to take away is that they all think we live in a wonderful country and we need to make sure we’re living up to those ideals.”
This won’t be the last Today viewers will see of Jenna’s interviews with the presidents. According to People, more will also air on April 21.
