Fans Question Falen’s Relationship With Hunter
Unexpected fans have wondered what Falen Vaughn’s relationship with Hunter Johnson is. When her daughter, Bella, wanted to break up with him during her pregnancy, Falen would not let her. Viewers questioned if she had a thing for Hunter or if she was living vicariously through Bella. When Hunter thought Bella was pregnant again shortly after having their son, Wes, he texted Falen over his own girlfriend. That was questionable behavior, and then, his alleged deadbeat father, Casey Johnson, filed for custody of Hunter and Wes. He claimed he had always been in his son’s life, but did not want to be on the show.
Moreover, he did not like the sexual freedom Hunter had and how he was staying over at Bella’s home, and he came with proof. Hunter made a social media video claiming he did not want to live with his dad, but now, Casey has been granted emergency custody. Texts between Hunter and Falen have come out, and they are interesting to say the least. Additionally, Hunter’s mom, Stacie, has lost her parenting rights for the time being as the judge felt his present living situation put:
“[Hunter] at immediate risk of harm should he be returned to [his mom Stacie].”
Hunter had also been using a phone paid for by Falen, but that has been shut down. Now, Casey stated that he had seen the phone that Falen and Kris Vaughn had provided his son. It was for a short time, but when he did, he saw some disturbing texts from the Unexpected stars. The Arkansas-based Falen texted this to Hunter, per the filing:
“In one message, Falen Vaughn states, ‘I just hope you are on our side like you said. We’ve done so much for you and think of you like our son.’”

Casey Johnson noted that there were many texts sent between Falen Vaugn and Hunter Johnson:
“Said communications reflect an unusually personal and excessive level of contact between an adult female and a fourteen-year-old child.”
Hunter had also allegedly asked Falen why she was upset with him, and it all revolved around his father. Casey noted that this was not over a long span but just a few days, which was even more concerning. A court date has been set for May 29th, so anything can happen.
