Although Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga have reconciled enough to return to RHONJ, they may not be ready to film together. The future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was up in the air, and no one knew what would happen. Moreover, fans were weighing in as to who they wanted to return: Melissa or Teresa. Luckily, they got both, but it may not be all rainbows and butterflies. Keep reading for all of the details as to what is currently known.
Can Teresa & Melissa Work Together?
Season 15 of RHONJ almost didn’t happen due to the continuing conflicts between Teresa Giudice and the Gorgas. She felt like she had lost her brother, Joe, when he married Melissa. There were times when they had an okay relationship, but then it would fall flat, and it was nothing but a massive battle. Teresa and Melissa could not even film together in Season 14, and the cast had to choose sides. This made production extremely difficult, and Andy Cohen admitted something had to change.
It has been over a year and a half since Season 14 ended, but now, Bravo has finally announced the return of RHONJ. The OGs staying on are Dolores Catania, Teresa Giudice, and Melissa Gorga. It helps that Melissa and Teresa reconciled and were able to spend the Christmas holiday as a family. Unfortunately, Teresa is unsure if she will be able to film with her sister-in-law and brother just yet:
“It’s baby steps and we’re not sure if we’re going to film together or not. Bravo hasn’t said anything. But, if we do … there’s a running joke that I don’t watch my show but this time I’m going to definitely watch it.”
Note how she refers to New Jersey as “her show.” In any case, she did state that she only wants Melissa and Joe Gorga to have her back. Essentially, she hopes they are both there for each other, and they can show viewers how they were raised:
“I want to show America what my family was really about, how I was raised. My brother and I always had each other’s backs.”
Non-Negotiable
After Teresa Giudice stated that she did not know if she would film with the Gorgas, a RHONJ insider was shocked. They noted that filming together was a non-negotiable at this point. If she is going to be on the show with Melissa and Joe, then she had better expect to be in scenes with them. Moreover, it was unclear why she thought she could avoid that. When fans heard what Teresa said, they were not surprised. They felt she got what she wanted out of her in-laws and now could go back to her wicked ways:
- Of course she doesn’t want to film with them She got what she wanted out of them. They made up long enough for her to get rehired. This is the way she operates.
- They should just cut their losses now and be done with it.She can’t be trusted neither can her husband. Be done with it.
