Marvel stars Lewis Pullman (Thunderbolts*) and Vanessa Kirby (The Fantastic Four) are set to co-star in Kitty Green‘s (The Assistant, The Royal Hotel) sci-fi thriller The Spacesuit from HanWay Films.
The film follows an astronaut (Kirby), who is forced to make an impossible decision after an incident with her co-pilot (Pullman) leaves an indelible stain on the mission in the days leading up to liftoff, triggering a race against the clock.
Green teams up again with producers James Schamus (Brokeback Mountain) and Scott Macaulay (Raising Victor Vargas), alongside Joe Pirro (The Wedding Banquet), Rita Walsh (The Wolves Always Come at Night), and Kath Shelper (Samson and Delilah). Vanessa Kirby and Juliet Kirby are executive producing under their Aluna banner.
Gabrielle Stewart, CEO of HanWay Films, says in a statement: “We are thrilled to be working with Kitty Green again , whose genius is to take on utterly relatable situations women face, give them true cinematic canvases and imbue them with unbearable tension to provoke bigger conversations and entertain. We cannot wait to be taken on this journey by Kitty with Vanessa Kirby and Lewis Pullman, and the excellent team she has gathered.”
This isn’t the first time Pullman or Kirby has ventured into the atmosphere. Both appeared in separate Marvel films in 2025 and are set to cross paths in Avengers: Doomsday this December.
HanWay Films will be selling the film internationally at the Cannes Film Festival.
