Joy Behar Suffers Major Memory Loss Live On-Air
Memory issues are a normal part of aging. However, severe memory loss can be a sign of a more serious issue. Joy Behar’s memory is usually pretty sharp for her age. However, she suffered a huge memory loss while live on the air.
Actress Brenda Song was a guest on Tuesday’s episode of The View. She’s currently starring in Season 2 of Netflix’s Running Point. She’s also married to former child star Macaulay Culkin. They share two children.
In a shocking memory lapse, Joy Behar asked the actress if she had any tips for “mom-to-be” Alyssa Farah Griffin. But her co-host already had her baby months ago. The View host just returned from maternity leave in April, two months after welcoming her son in February.
Joy Behar played the awkward moment off by joking that Alyssa Farah Griffin hasn’t brought the baby to the show yet, “As far as I know, she hasn’t had it yet,” she quipped.
Forgetting that your co-worker gave birth is definitely not a minor memory lapse. But that’s not Joy Behar’s only concerning behavior.

Joy Behar missed several episodes of the daytime talk show in late 2025 after suffering an injury in a bizarre mishap. The View host broke her toe after dropping an iPad on it. She seems to have mobility issues ever since the injury.
Regular viewers may have noticed that one of her co-hosts assists Joy Behar to her chair nearly every episode. Sara Haines often walks behind her elderly co-host and helps her get settled at the “Hot Topics” table before sitting down in her own seat.
In one recent episode, the two even walked out with Joy Behar holding on to her co-host’s arm.
