Recently, while on the show, she opened up about being the subject of pregnancy speculations.
Today‘s Jenna Bush Hager Made A Personal Share After A Discussion About Zoe Kravitz & Harry Styles‘ Engagement
Jenna is the daughter of the 43rd U.S. president, George W. Bush. She herself has become known for her work as a broadcast journalist, notably co-hosting Today‘s fourth hour, Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.
In her personal life, Jenna married Henry Hager in 2008. The two have gone on to have three children.
However, Jenna has often found herself in the middle of all sorts of gossip and rumors over the years. During a recent episode of her show with Sheinelle Jones, she opened up about a time in which the press claimed that she was pregnant.
The conversation came out after the two discussed Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles‘ engagement. At the time, Jenna thought it was funny that the couple shared the news with “a small circle.”
Jenna Shared She Often Wondered About Who These ‘Inside Sources’ Talking About Her Really Were
This caused Jenna to share, “I crack up, just because, there were times when I was written about throughout my life, even as a 19 or 18-year-old child. And people would be like ‘sources confirm… a source really close to Jenna Bush says her partying ways are driving her and her twin sister apart!’”
This caused Jenna to speculate on just who this “source” was. As she shared, “I’m like, ‘What source close to me felt like they needed to say that?’”
When asked by Jones if she thought these reports were “for real,” Jenna replied, “No, it was always like, random.” She also shared that she was “so sad” over a report claiming that she was pregnant.
Jenna explained, “I was a young person, and remember when the peasant shirts were in? And it was like ‘a source close to Jenna Bush says she is indeed pregnant.’ I was like, ‘I thought I had just reached my goal weight… I look pregnant?’”
At the time of these reports, Jenna wasn’t pregnant. As noted by TV Insider, when she later gave birth to each of her three children, Mila, Poppy, and Hal, she announced the news herself each time.
