Watters is a Fox News personality known for his work with a variety of programs. This includes his namesake series, Jesse Watters Primetime, and The Five, in which he serves as a co-host.
Recently, Watters had a story to share as the United States received a visit from King Charles III and Queen Camilla. In fact, Watters and fellow Fox News personality Greg Gutfeld recently attended a White House state dinner with the royals.
Both Watters and Gutfeld later appeared on The Five, where they discussed the event. The segment was introduced by Harold Ford, who noted that Watters and Gutfeld were “sitting courtside” at the dinner. Meanwhile, Emily Compagno and Dana Perino praised the two for their appearance, particularly Gutfeld’s hair.

As Watters shared, after getting a chance to meet the royal couple, King Charles “had no idea who I was.” He then explained that he worked with Fox News and was even on two shows. This caused the King to comment. “Well, they must really love you here.” For his part, Watters replied, “Yeah.”
When getting a chance to meet with the Queen-Consort, Watters brought up beekeeping, a passion the royal couple is known to have. He explained, “So we go down, and there’s the queen. And I said, ‘Well, how was the beehive?’ She goes, ‘It was very good. No one got stung.’”

Watters then revealed that he shared a rather off-color joke with Camilla. He continued, “And then I said, ‘Well, you know in Washington, D.C., you know, the bees don’t get you, the guns will.’”
Perino was shocked by the admission, sharing, “You said that? To the queen?!” This caused Watters to cover his face with his hands. Watters then shared, “And this woman just starts pulling me away from the queen,” as he cracked up laughing. This caused Gutfeld to quip, “That is classic Jesse!”
For his part, Watters later shared a clip of the conversation on X. As he captioned the post, “HOLY SMOKES! I ALMOST got THROWN OUT of the Royal State Dinner.”
