President Trump Reveals Dream Job
Donald J. Trump was born and raised in New York City. He followed his father’s footsteps into the real estate business. Some of his key projects included renovating golf courses, skyscrapers, and even housing. He also dabbled in owning casinos in the U.S. and beyond.
As a child, he dreamed of putting his stamp on New York. He accomplished that many times, most notably with Trump Tower, which is one of the most-visited sites in the city. But what if he had taken a different career path?
The astronauts from the Artemis II space mission visited the White House this week. They safely returned from a mission to the Moon in April. They spoke to President Trump via video camera during the enterprise. The crew joined him in person in the Oval Office after adjusting to life back on earth.
Donald J. Trump pondered becoming an astronaut, wondering if Presidents are allowed to go into space. “I would have had no trouble making it. I’m physically very good,” he said, after noting that being an astronaut requires intelligence and physical activity.
“I like space. You know, I started Space Force, as you very well know,” the President added.
The View Hosts Roast His Qualifications
The View is among the news shows that always have a response to something President Trump said or did. His comments about being smart enough and physically fit enough to go into space did not go unnoticed by the hosts of the ABC talk show. Whoopi Goldberg introduced a clip of the unexpected moment.
All of the hosts burst into laughter at President Trump’s assertion that he is qualified to go into space. Whoopi Goldberg listed off some of the qualifications that he doesn’t meet. “You need a master’s degree in a STEM field. You don’t have any master’s degrees; at least two years of related professional experience obtained, or at least 1,000 hours as pilot in command, time on a jet aircraft — I don’t think you have that; be within the ages of 30 and 55, well you know you ain’t going; and you have to have skills of leadership, teamwork, and communication.”
She joked that President Trump could drive the rover around on the Moon. Joy Behar jumped in with her thoughts on the topic. While you’re at it, take [JD] Vance and that Mike Johnson with you. I hear Jupiter is lovely this time of year,” the 83-year-old comedian quipped.
Alyssa Farah Griffin ignored Trump’s comments and praised the astronauts from the mission instead. The host, who recently gave birth, got emotional while noting that one astronaut named a crater after his wife.
She chimed in at the end of the segment with a joke of her own. The View host held out her ears from under her hair and said there was nothing wrong with big ears. President Trump had made a joke about the size of one of the NASA Administrator’s ears.
