Survivor fans have noticed that the series often tells a story as the castaways each compete to win the season. Recently, some edits on the show have some thinking that Season 50 is already teasing its winner. In fact, one recent episode has some fans reevaluating past scenes.
Survivor 50 Was Developed To Put Things In The Hands Of Fans
Back in February, Survivor returned for its 50th season. This milestone season was already planned to have a lot of events, including appearances from country music singer Zac Brown and YouTube personality MrBeast.
In addition, this season was developed with the fans in mind, even having the subtitle, “In the Hands of Fans.” This season features game mechanics and production designs that had been chosen by an online vote.
Over the years, fans have noted that edits on the show often reflect different storylines that the show is trying to develop. In fact, one narrative seen this season has some fans thinking that they’ve already figured out the Season 50 winner.
This player is Aubry Bracco, who seems to be getting quite a bit of focus on the show. Like other contestants this season, fans have seen Bracco in other seasons of the show, including Survivor: Kaôh Rōng, Survivor: Game Changers, and Survivor: Edge of Extinction.
Notably, Aubry has gotten at least one confessional in every episode, which is true of every winner since Survivor 42. Often, Aubry had shared that she was planning a big move. Despite this, it also often turns out that she isn’t always involved with the “big moves” seen in the final episode.
The Survivor Specialists Podcast Has Also Weighed In On The Idea
In particular, one recent episode, “A Side Dish Of Chaos,” had fans wondering if the show is already hinting at something big for her. In particular, focus was given to her infamous loss to Michelle Fitzgerald in Kaoh Rong.
Bracco notably discussed one thing she has learned from her time on the show. This was that you can win by making big moves later on. In a way, with her previous confessions, it seems that the show is trying to paint Aubry as someone who has been bidding her time so far throughout this season.
There is also at least one figure who already thinks Aubry could be the season’s winner. After the episode, Phil from the Survivor Specialists podcast shared that he was now convinced that Aubry would be the winning castaway, specifically citing the episode.
Meanwhile, Phil’s co-host Will didn’t think it was such a sure thing. However, he felt that she had the potential to win the season. Ultimately, however, viewers will have to continue watching Season 50 to find out who will win the season.
