This was a shocking thing that occurred, and everyone is still shocked that she has not been found. Unfortunately, it is being assumed that she is now dead. Savannah Guthrie had to return to work after this happened. It was more than likely the hardest thing she had to do. However, she had to do what she had to do. There was no other option for her.

Savannah Guthrie has appeared emotional in a recent episode of The Today Show. They were being shown childhood photos.
“That got us thinking — and none of us really have our picture day pictures — but what we looked like in our kindergarten era,”
She loved the throwback picture of herself. However, when she was looking at it, she seemed to get teary-eyed.
“That was in my backyard,”
Jenna pointed out how sweet it was. This was a bittersweet thing for Savannah to see. However, it more than likely made her happy even though it did make her emotional. Fans love Savannah and seeing her on the show. However, they want her to have closure soon regarding her mother and the situation.

It seems as though it was tough for her to see her childhood photo. She knew her mother more than likely took the picture. So, it brought up a lot of feelings about her mother and childhood home.
