The interest in true crime stories has reached a fever pitch. Bravo star Lisa Vanderpump is the latest to succumb. She takes her career in a new direction with a chilling new true crime project. Keep reading to find out everything we know about it.
Bravo Stokes Vanderpump Rules Cancellation Rules
NBCUniversal recently held its upfronts, where it promotes new and returning shows. The company owns several prominent networks, including Bravo, Oxygen and the Peacock streaming service. Following the event, Bravo announced its schedule for the rest of the year. Several notable shows were left off, including The Real Housewives of Miami and Vanderpump Rules.
Both RHONJ and RHONY are returning with new casts after being put on pause. Vanderpump Rules underwent a total cast overhaul after Season 11. However, the newbies didn’t really resonate with viewers, sparking speculation that the show was done. Leaving it off the schedule only further fueled cancellation rumors. Bravo has yet to confirm or deny whether it will return for Season 13.
The Valley, which features several former SURvers, was also left off the upcoming schedule. However, Lisa Vanderpump is set to headline another new television show.
RHOBH Alum Lisa Vanderpump Joins Chilling True Crime Project
Bravo viewers first met Lisa Vanderpump on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While she let cameras into her home life, her career as a restaurant owner took center stage. The personal lives of some employees at her SUR restaurant featured on the Vanderpump Rules spinoff.

Lisa Vanderpump left RHOBH in 2019 after falling out with the cast. She was accused of selling negative stories to the tabloids. The allegations ruined her friendship with former close friend, Kyle Richards. But that wasn’t the last viewers saw of her. She’s had several reality shows since then, including Vanderpump Dogs and Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa.
After years of featuring her restaurants and dog rescue, Lisa Vanderpump takes her career in an unexpected new direction: true crime. Deadline reported that the Bravo star has signed on to host a true crime show for the Oxygen channel.
Snapped: Rich B*tch Rampage features the true stories of when “upper-class scandal collides with cold-blooded murder,” according to the press release. The show premieres sometime in 2027.

Also coming next year is a Vanderpump Rules spinoff set in one of Lisa Vanderpump’s Las Vegas restaurants. Vanderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas is a limited series is set in her new Vegas hotel and restaurant, The Vanderpump Hotel. The show documents the behind-the-scenes rush to get the hotel up and running by the deadline.
