Pakistan Women produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat Zimbabwe Women by a massive 153 runs in the first T20I of the Zimbabwe Women tour of Pakistan 2026 at the National Stadium in Karachi. After opting to bat first, the hosts piled up a daunting total of 237/5 in 20 overs, courtesy of a sensational century from Ayesha Zafar. Pakistan’s bowlers then backed up the batting heroics with a ruthless display, bowling Zimbabwe out for just 84 in 18.2 overs.

Ayesha Zafar steals the show with magnificent century

Pakistan’s innings got off to a lively start despite the early dismissal of Muneeba Ali, who managed only two runs. Gull Feroza counterattacked brilliantly and smashed 37 runs off just 19 deliveries, hitting eight boundaries to put Zimbabwe’s bowlers under pressure from the beginning.

The highlight of the innings, however, was Ayesha’s breathtaking knock. The left-handed batter played one of the finest T20I innings seen in Karachi, hammering 102 runs from only 47 balls. She dominated the Zimbabwe attack with elegant strokeplay and fearless aggression, striking 15 fours and two sixes during her stay at the crease. Ayesha kept the scoreboard moving rapidly and ensured Pakistan maintained complete control throughout the innings.

After Gull’s dismissal, Saira Jabeen added a quick cameo of five runs before Natalia Pervaiz contributed nine runs. Aliya Riaz then provided the perfect finishing touch with a destructive unbeaten 48 off 23 deliveries. Her innings included four boundaries and four towering sixes that pushed Pakistan beyond the 230-run mark. Sana Fatima also chipped in with a useful 21 from 13 balls to cap off a memorable batting effort for the home side.

Zimbabwe’s bowlers struggled badly against Pakistan’s aggressive approach. Nomvelo Sibanda claimed two wickets but conceded 59 runs in her four overs, while Precious Marange, Beloved Biza and Michelle Mavunga picked up one wicket each.

    Pakistan bowlers complete one-sided victory

Chasing a mammoth target of 238, Zimbabwe Women never looked comfortable against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack. Kelis Ndhlovu fell early for two runs, and wickets continued to tumble at regular intervals. Natasha Mutomba showed some resistance with a fighting 24 off 20 balls, while Adel Zimunu scored 18 from 34 deliveries. However, no batter managed to build a substantial partnership as Pakistan’s bowlers maintained relentless pressure.

Fatima starred with the ball after contributing with the bat earlier in the evening. She ripped through Zimbabwe’s batting lineup with figures of 3/7 in her three overs. Pervaiz also impressed with the ball, picking up 2/3 in a highly economical spell, while Sadia Iqbal claimed two wickets as well. Rameen Shamim added another wicket to the tally, and Pakistan’s bowlers combined brilliantly to bowl Zimbabwe out for just 84 in 18.2 overs.
